Who We Are
35 guys, from all across the country, brought together by one thing: our love of lacrosse.
Established in 2021, the Salt Lake Storm is Utah’s first men’s semi-professional box lacrosse team. Our team has a range of experience, including playing at professional, collegiate, and club levels.
As part of the Box Lacrosse League, we compete against teams from across the nation. Our season includes 10 games and a playoff tournament. We also participate in at least 2 off-season tournaments to keep the stick skills sharp.
We are excited to compete at a high level and look forward to growing the sport of lacrosse in the Mountain West.
If lacrosse and hockey had a baby, it would be named Box Lacrosse (“Box” for short). Box is played in a rink, either on turf or sport court. 5 runners and a goalie per team.
